Sports betting revenue for PA sites almost doubled this year. The current figures put revenues at $50.2 million, a massive increase from last year, which brought in $28.3 million.
The top-performing sports betting sites
Online sports betting claimed a large chunk of PA’s total sports revenue. Of the $50.2 million posted, $43.0 million came from online bets, with the balance attributed to retail sportsbooks.
Revenue-wise, FanDuel came first in PA. The site managed to collect $22.7 million in revenue from a $213.0 million handle. Barstool and DraftKings managed a distant second and third, respectively
Online casino revenue also increased
PA online casino game players also spent more. Revenues increased by 15.2%, totaling $112.7 million from $97.8 million last year.
Online slots continued to gunner most support, with revenues increasing by 13.6% to $77.9 million. Table games also picked up, increasing by 22.2% to $32.2 million.
