Pennsylvania-based betPARX is giving players a more personalised experience with a new feature on its sportsbook app.
The new SPARX tab will provide users with a personalised environment, displaying infographics that match bet offers with relevant statistics. It was developed in partnership with sports tech company Epoxy.ai, and uses analytic models to deliver the bespoke experience.
betPARX says it will also be deploying Epoxy.ai’s On4Me services, which uses artificial intelligence to determine which sports are available for individual users. According to the company, this will help those bettors who want to make sure they will be able to watch a game live, before placing bets.
Regarding the new feature, Matthew Cullen, Senior Vice President, iGaming and Sports at betPARX, said: “Users are expecting technology products that understand their behaviors and personalise the experience precisely for them.
“The new SPARX feature on the betPARX app will deliver that experience. Think of Spotify, Instagram and Netflix. This is the norm that does not exist in the sports betting space, and we are ecstatic to deliver this first-of-its-kind betting-specific experience to our users.”
While Epoxy.ai COO Jason Angelides, added: “We are thrilled that Parx selected Epoxy.ai to develop the SPARX feature. Parx is looking to be an innovative leader in the gaming space, and we believe SPARX will help BetParx customers become more engaged by making sports betting on the BetParx app easier to understand and use.”
betPARX is currently available in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey, and will be launching soon in Maryland and Ohio. The brand is a subsidiary of Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, and also features a 7,500 square foot retail sportsbook at Parx Casino.
